WHY HAVE A CIVIL CELEBRANT?

A very good question! Quite often people have their wedding and registration simultaneously but this doesn't need to be the case. If you register your wedding with your local council, it allows you to have the ceremony you want, wherever you want.

Importantly, with me as your civil celebrant you are free to have the ceremony or occasion you want - not the bog standard delivered from a script. There is no limit or rules to follow, we can create something personal and fun!

Is a Celebrant service legally binding?

No it isn't. As mentioned, weddings or other ceremonies don't have to contain all the legal stuff. You can do this separately and then have a ceremony that you want, wherever you want.

Are you a qualified celebrant?

Yes I am. I am trained by the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants which means I am able to meet your needs. The fellowship train celebrants across the UK and promote and encourage professionalism in their members. Their motto is "Your Choice, Your Voice, Your Ceremony."

what can you include in my ceremony?

Almost anything! I am not affiliated with any religion or organisation. However if you want to include something inspired by spiritualist or religious roots, I am happy to do so.

I love being creative so if you have an idea for a ceremony then I am more than happy to help bring this to life!
